Raycore won a substantial order for sveral thousands of 4-port media converters (RC-OFC4) in May 2008. All of these converters have been safely delivered and installed. The compact converters are equipped with the fiber port and power inlet on the backside which implies no disturbing cords at the front.

Raycore and NetAccess have entered a new business partnership, where NetAccess has chosen Raycore as one of their new suppliers, mainly for active products. NetAccess is a distributor of passive and active components for data- and telecommunication. Together NetAccess and Raycore will fulfil their common mission - to adapt the products according to the customer's needs.

Yet another positive financial result from the accounts from the previous year. The closure shows how Raycore is steadily growing into a prosperous company thanks to loyal customers and trustworthy suppliers and partners. Investments in new and in-house developed products such as the AxessMate have been made and we are constantly looking into a product portfolio that is reflecting the market’s needs.
 

Raycore enters a cooperation with the Dutch company Regoort BV. Regoort is active within the CATV and telecom market and is the largest supplier of wireless infrastructure in The Netherlands. Through Regoort and their extensive network of customers & partners, we will be able to offer first class active and passive Fiber Optic products for the Dutch and surrounding markets.
 

Raycore becomes a member of the Swedish Urban Network Association. The membership is important for us in order to even better understand the needs and requirements of the FTTH networks.

The Swedish Urban Network Association (Svenska Stadsnätsföreningen), SSNf, is a non-profit-making trade association for network owners who are actively engaged in the development of a broadband infrastructure. The Association was established in 1998 and soon attracted about a hundred members.

Members are local authorities and companies which own or operate communications networks that are accessible by everyone. It also has members in the operator and supplier areas of the telecommunications and data communications sector. Close contact between the different players in the sector is important in order to be able to offer end users a good network content.

2006-12-10 Raycore wins large CPE Tender

Raycore wins a major CPE tender to Gnesta Stadsnät. 730 pcs of AxessMate units are to be installed in the City of Gnesta community-owned apartments. Teracom AB will serve as the communications operator.
 

2006-11-01 New Employment

Raycore hires Dan Sahlin as CTO. Dan has got both a long and broad experience from the CATV as well as the communication business. He has previously worked for Ericsson and IBM. At Ericsson, Dan worked for Ericsson UAB (Ericsson Utvecklings AB – Ericsson Development AB) and their Computer Science Laboratory. Dan also holds a number of patents concerning Internet access. One of these patents is to distribute Ethernet over Coax, with the market name Multilet. Dan previously comes from his own consultancy firm where he mainly worked for Macab AB with further development of his own patents for Internet- and broadband accesses over Coax.         

Dan’s engineering degree is in Physics from Royal Technical Institute, KTH, in Stockholm where he also holds a Ph.D in Computer Science.

  2006-08-21 ECOC Exhibition 2006

As Raycore did last year, we will also this year participate at the show. As always it will be held in conjunction to the ECOC 2006 convention, this year at Palais Des Festivals & Des Congres in Cannes, France. The show will be open for visitors from Monday the 25th to Wednesday the 27th of September.
